Recap: Nootropic filled diets consists of seeking out nutritious energy sources like healthy fats that your brain will readily use, and moderate protein intake with a hearty dose of organic greens to stay regular, fight glycemic spikes, and feel fully charged.

Those of you on a ketogenic diet merely need to add nootropics like Mind and Mend to your regimen to complete the full health and longevity picture. You may have been so focused on weight loss, and didn't even realize that a keto diet borders on the benefits of nootropics for brain health, because healthy lean fats are excellent fuel sources for your brain, and staying low carb to no carb keeps you mentally clearer, and helps prevent brain fog.

Always strive for quality over quantity. Simply saying, the source of ingredients matters. This also holds true in basically all aspects of life. But for now, we’re talking food, and nutritious food at that. Selecting your bacon and eggs should be done thoughtfully. It is well worth it to spend more to get stress free eggs and bacon, with deep, golden yolks like a sunset, and thick grass fed bacon slabs. I know they say that pigs have adapted to concentrated feed, but there are plenty of smaller farmers out there that let their pigs graze on pastured land, and they pick up far more nutrients from the soil, and general roughage, and also don't have a problem putting on any size. Finding these pork gems is a must. The meat is incredible. Also thicker is better, and less is more when it comes to selecting bacon. So 1-2(thick) and 2-3(thin) strips of bacon per person is plenty. There is a big difference between poorly raised hogs and confined chickens, and carefully farmed animals. Hold the bread, unless you’ve just whipped up some awesome nootropic, almond meal/flour bread. It’s seriously tasty, and seriously good for you.

Not Your Ordinary Green Sauce and Not Your Ordinary Breakfast

This recipe highlights the nutty flavor of the traditional pesto a lot of people are used to. What differs is the mixture of green leaves that will be used and the addition of nootropics, specifically Mind unflavored. Spinach, arugula and parsley, the most accessible leafy greens that can be bought almost anywhere, and Mind make this green sauce a brain packed power food. Since the conventional pesto recipe uses pine nuts, which is high in carbohydrates, hemp hearts will be substituted to contribute the nutty, cheesy texture. Mind will provide all the necessary brain nutrients, fat burning compounds, and collagen for recovery.

Essential Nootropic Benefits of Hemp Hearts

Hemp is composed of 30% fat and is rich in two essential fatty acids namely: linolenic acid, also known as omega-6 and alpha-linolenic acid (omega-3). In addition, this also contains gamma-linolenic acid (GLA) which is an omega 6 that is connected to several health advantages. GLA is good for your skin, namely psoriasis, sclerosis, and eczema, but that is merely superficial. Dig a little deeper and you'll find that GLA is used to prevent cancer, and specifically assists in breast cancer treatment to improve recovery. GLA also lowers cholesterol levels, and decreases your risk of heart disease.

Hemp seeds contain nitric oxide, a gas molecule that makes blood vessels dilate and relax. Thus, hemp seeds help lower blood pressure and reduce the risk of heart disease.

Almost 25% of the calories that hemp seeds contain are from protein. It contains essential amino acids and makes a complete protein source.

It’s also noteworthy that hemp hearts have an effect in decreasing breast pain, tenderness, irritability, and depression attributed to pre-menstrual syndrome (PMS). Another is that, hemp hearts are both composed of soluble and insoluble fiber. Soluble fiber is a great source of nutrients that benefit digestive bacteria, and can also reduce high fluctuations in blood sugar, and regulate cholesterol levels. So start taking advantage of hemp hearts, they are a nootropic superfood.

Remember that Momental nootropics are a special blend of herbal compounds that support the demands of your brain to operate at a high level. Whatever your favorite, healthiest meal is to prepare, know that a nootropic regimen with Mind and Mend provides your brain and body the building blocks to improve all physiological processes and optimizes tissue integrity and recovery. So it’s not just about feeding your physical body, but your brain as well. How’s that for an overall gastronomic experience?
