Aloe vera is a plant commonly used for medicinal purposes for cuts, scrapes, burns, and more, but it has an overlooked benefit to it:  It has amazing results when ingested as well.

Most of us don’t look at the spines on a normal aloe vera plant and think about how delicious it looks and how yummy it must taste, but actually aloe vera juice and its leaves are becoming widespread as more and more people discover the truth about this hidden gem.

If you are on the fence about aloe vera, read on and discover the health benefits, as well as the ways you can get the nutrition from the plant without even noticing you are eating it, and you may change your mind.

Aloe Vera Helps Fight Aging

Aloe is a natural promoter of collagen production, and collagen is what your skin requires to stay younger-looking.  Your joints also require it to keep the elasticity so they can bend and flex smoothly.

You can drink aloe vera juice, eat it, or get the collagen your skin needs from your Momental Nootropics.

What are customers saying about Mind?

According to Prevention magazine in their article “4 Things That Happen When You Eat Collagen Every Day” by Stephanie Eckelcamp, “In one recent study, women who took a collagen supplement daily experienced a 20% reduction in wrinkle depth around their eyes after 8 weeks. Other research finds that daily supplementation can ease osteoarthritis-related knee pain (score!), which makes sense, as collagen provides high levels of the amino acids used to build bone and joint tissue.”

All of this adds up to one thing:  You want collagen to help in the fight against aging, and aloe vera promotes collagen naturally.

But not only does it promote it, it actually can work on a genetic level to stop the damage from happening in the first place.  A scientific study from the US National Library of Medicine National Institutes of Health reported that the wound-healing effect of aloe vera plants works down to a DNA level to not only repair the damage on the surface, such as wrinkles and other signs of aging, but to decrease the activity of the genes that damage collagen to begin with.

Enjoying aloe vera combined with your Momental Mind Nootropics is a way to ensure that your body is receiving enough collagen and collagen-producing nutrients to fight the signs of aging.

Aloe Vera Helps With Digestion

Aloe vera in gel form can clean your body of toxins, according to an article in Livestrong.  Aloe gel, like in the recipe below, has healing properties that can cleanse your digestive tract from residual food that may be lying there clogging it up.

This also helps detoxify your body, improving your circulatory system and producing blood cells that can help to fight infection.  While it is doing all of this, it obviously acts as a natural laxative as well, reducing constipation by breaking down the fats in the body that build up and cause symptoms of constipation.

Combining aloe vera in gel or juice form with Momental Mind Nootropics will help your body’s digestive system perform optimally, at the same time it is fighting the signs of aging through collagen production.

Does aloe vera work ok in the body when cooked? Wouldn’t raw be better?
